Is it reasonable or childish to ignore people once they're taken?

It's childish to ignore almost all people but reasonable to ignore few people.
It's their relationship n if that's how they wanna put efforts in maintaining it, keeping loyalty to each other, then let them.
While being in a relationship, good people are mostly open to those of whom they can be 100% sure that they won't be a 'threat' to their relationship.
Now those 'threatening people' they're either threatening themselves OR they could be at no fault, totally fine, but for the one in relationship, they could be.. if ukwim..

My last line means that some outside people, if they're themselves not threatening through their own actions, could still be perceived as 'threatening' if the person in a relationship finds them attractive some way.. But they wanna put all the focus on their partner cuz they want to respect them n the relationship. @scooogy

But I get a feeling like in this case as well as in all other cases her hashimoto disease makes her partner neglect her and once again she craves for someone putting up with that. I can only add that she knew what she did when she told me there was someone oh so much better than me, which she said one and a half years ago. It seems to me like she's invested two guys already in trying to get me jealous enough to ask her out and be the next guy.

What she's doing just seems wrong to me. I think, if u wanna care for her, do it without expecting anything in return & don't just DON'T look at what she's doing (her this n that signs).. You can get twisted if u play along her ways (which she herself doesn't seem to understand). You can talk to her n be beside her, but only as a friend. If u think u can do it, with zero overthinking, then ONLY be her friend. If not, you may cut her off.
But Yeah mind it.. If she has a boyfriend, it was her decision. You shouldn't question it or him.

If you and her were true friends. Meaning neither are interested in each other. Respectfully she can introduce you to her boyfriend. You and the boyfriend can become friends…as in group friends. You, on the other hand should be looking for your Mrs. Right. double date when the time comes.

I think it's rude and disrespectful to ignore people just because they're taken. They're still human beings, just treat them without romantic intention.
I get that if you do feel romantic intention it might be easier to ignore them, it might even be better sometimes, but it's not optimal nor nice to reduce them to their availability.
