What should I think of a guy that for the first time going out he invites me to some beers?

Depends on where the beers are.

At one of my fave craft breweries? Or any craft brewery? Sweet.

Scuzzy sports bar? Pass.

Lounge? Neato, I'm in.

Dive bar? How is the food and prices?

I've taken dates to a nice mountain brewery before. It's a real good place for a date.

I don't think that necessarily means anything... certainly nothing bad. Don't have much to drink though. Maybe 1 drink; 2 at most. It is a first date, after all.

I mean depends on context. I've had two dozen coworkers invite me out for beers/drinks after work. None of us died as a result.
