Wrong? It's a good way to end up with a pedophile boyfriend. Because what interest would a 26 yr. Old guy have in a 16yr. Old (no offense). The ages are two totally different thought processes.

Think I'm overexaggerating? I worked with a girl who when she was 16. She fell for a 26yr. Old guy that gave her a lot of attention. Naturally her parents didn't approve. He got her pregnant. Not only that but 2 more times so she had 3 kids by the time she was 21. She married him. And then a couple years. Later she finds out he had molested her mentally handicapped niece. Even worse he had been molesting thier kids the whole time under her nose.

Now the story does have a happy ending (as happy as it can get in this situation anyways). The guy is in prison for all he's done. And she met a good, decent, quality and guy and is remarried. But she could have avoided ALL of this pain not to mention the pain inflicted on her children if she had just realized from the beginning. No decent ADULT has any relationship interest in a 16 yr. Old girl!

It is normal but of course wrong too. You could be taken advantage of, not as fun as it sounds, and they could have their lives ruined. Its a lose-lose scenario.

As for the attraction itself, I think most people are attracted to 20-somethings. Not only is it a physical prime but it is also what media constantly shows us as the ideal.

Wait until you're 18 or whatever the age of consent is. Once you are, do as you wish but responsibly. Maybe just date the single-child of your age? They tend to be more mature earlier, if a little lost at times.

In the USA, the age of consent is 16 in most states. However, likely your state has a 3 or 4-year close-to-age exception. Nevertheless, you should wait a year before dating young men in their twenties. Furthermore, almost all men age 20 or older would be reluctant to date you because their friends and family would tell him he is robbing the cradle. Therefore, any young man age 20 or older that would date you would be from the bottom of the barrel and unless you are fat or ugly, you deserve to date a higher quality young man.

Since you're 15, I would say 16 is no problem, but older than that, yeah, it's totally wrong. Grown men have no business being friends with you, much less anything more serious.

At that age many of the males your age are pretty immature.
The older guys are more mature, can actually afford to take you to a nice place, not the Taco Bell with the cleaner tables, and treat you like a queen.

No. When I was 13-16 I was into older women. I think a lot of these morals are made up. Like if we lived in the tribal days, older women would probably let young guys f*ck just to learn how to do it while young and impressionable. I believe "good people" are just brainwashed people
