Yeah because shit happens. If you can't learn to cope with a bad day and still function outside of work you have more problems than dating. I leave stuff that happens at work... at work. I don't take it home with me. I have had my fair share of bad nights and don't let it effect my social life. If anything I welcome a distraction so that I don't think about it. I would still go on a date. I wouldn't let a bad work night effect my mood either. I am pretty quick to get that stuff outta my head.
