Is it a date if a female co-worker asks you to go to an event together?

• I know she likes me because she showed signs of interest when she was still together with her husband, asking me all kinds of personal stuff about past relationships, playing with her hair, being jealous if I talked with other female co-workers... She's single now and I saw her gazing at me with big eyes, she blushed all over her face when I smiled at her recently and she tried to make me jealous I guess by hugging a someone while looking directly at me. When I shrugged it off and pretended nothing had happened she later told me he's a close friend. I suggested the event and she said we should go together. Is this a date because she has romantic interest?

It is totally not work-related, it is in our free time and she got divorced 4 months ago.

Well, it is a while. I have had a long relationship after which I had a couple of flings. She's the one I want a serious relationship with if we match.

It seems obvious that she is interested in you. BUT. . . you don't need to make that determination in advance. Take the pressure off of yourself. Just approach this as you and a cute girl going and doing something together and if feelings develop, it will be obvious. During the event, hold her hand to show your interest. At the end of the event, when yo are ready to say goodnight, give her a hug, then keep your arms around her waist but pull your face back, look into her eyes, tild your head slightly and start moving your lips towards hers. If she is interested, she'll let you kiss her. If she isn't interested, or if she is shy and just not yet ready, she will turn her face to the side so you can kiss her cheek. Thn you tell her that you had a great time and hope th two of you can spend some more time together very soon.
