Most guys, not just players but regular decent guys who would be committed and monogamous with you, are not going to pay for dates for an entire fucking year with no sex, especially because I already know that you didn't make every guy you have ever had sex with wait that long. The only guys who might are pathetic losers or extremely religious types of guys, but then they will expect marriage around that time. I get that you are trying to keep your body count low but if you stick to this time frame you WILL die alone.

If you only want to have sex with someone that you've been in a relationship with for at least a year, that's perfectly reasonable. The fact that he 'went cold' on you when you set that boundary suggests that he was only interested in sex. It sounds like you dodged a bullet if you ask me!
