Should I confront him about it? Am I being petty? Sometimes I don’t even think he knows I’m in the room like now sitting on his gaming chair and steering wheel his gaze fixed onto the tv screen it’s really beginning to annoy me

I left both my ex bfs who spent too much time gaming.

It got exhausting, and it's not like I don't game. I play several hours a week. I just also have hobbies and sports outside of gaming.

One ex even complained to me he was jealous of my extracurricular activities so much that I stopped being involved in two, but despite us talking about spending more time together it just ended up with me learning he spends 8h a day on clicker idle games.

My condition about video games now is that they can't be the only hobby. You've got to have at least two hobbies outside of video games for me to consider you date worthy.

Don’t date a gamer if you don’t like him playing games. That’s a no brainer. Or you could try to join his hobby, play games with him. Or find yourself a hobby to keep you entertained while he enjoys his own hobby.
