Hmmmm. Sex in a relationship is pretty big for me, so the physical attraction thing is important.
However, I am poly and can get my physical needs met elsewhere, which opens up the door to more intense emotional connections.

However however, the clingy part is kind of the dealbreaker. Clingy and polyamory do not go well together. I recently learned this firsthand. So unfortunately that would be the roadblock.

If he wasn't clingy, then the lack of physical attraction would not be as big of a deal.

I don't care about looks unless there is something extremely unique about his appearance. Cause a good looking guy is only attractive for a few weeks or months if he has nothing else going on.

The thing for me is there are but a few guys who will turn your gears or you look at and think damn he’s handsome. There aren’t enough of them to go around that every girl will get married to one so why have that as a priority.

Alright. While a woman needs to *be* loved, a man needs *to* love. This is why we'll often see a couple who don't necessarily seem like they're well matched with one another. One of them, typically the woman, will be considerably more attractive than the other one. This means that the man is going to have to work his ass off to keep her happy -- and oftentimes, he does.

Nope. I won't even date someone that I am not physically attracted to. That is a must. The other things you mention like being clingy would drive me absolutely nuts. I don't like clingy partners. I still like to feel like I have my own life. I want them to have theirs. I wanna be able to go out with friends and have them go out and do stuff without me too. Clingy people are rarely like that. There are also other things that go along typically with being clingy.
