Not really but there's definitely nuance in this. Initially if I am not attracted to her then I would assume in time I would grow attracted to her through her behaviors, intelligence, morals, and personality. If that does not happen then no I wouldn't.

The reality is if I'm not initially attracted to her physically and spending time with her and getting to know her doesn't change that into an attraction out of affection than no I wouldn't marry someone in that context.

Physical attraction fades and we all change in appearance in time. Marriage is for life therefore all the other things are very important, that said I would not date someone who is overweight. It shows they don't do a lot of basic things that are important to me

There has to be some level of physical attraction for a relationship to work especially for guys. On a scale of 1-10 1-5 is unattractive (in my eyes not everyone's) and 6-10 is attractive. Your personality can turn a 6 to a 10 easily but unfortunately if you are a 5 or below I'm never going to find you attractive in that way. It does not have to be a lot but something has to be there.
