A couple of tattoos are okay, but I'm not a fan of total body art. I've also known a couple of men who had tattoo references to other women, either their name or something that represents them. I don't appreciate having to stare at another woman from his past while we're out. One time I was at a resort with my now-ex and someone saw his tattoo and looked at me and said, "Huh. I guess you're Jennifer." I just rolled my eyes.

I also AM a tattoo reference for my first boyfriend, who is Asian. I was born in the Chinese zodiac year of the tiger (he himself is NOT a tiger), so he had a tiger tattooed on his arm, and told me point blank it's to represent me. That was back in 1990. Wherever he is today, I'm sure he's made up a new story to tell his current girlfriend or wife that he just likes the animal, nothing more. :)

Ideally i prefer no tats.

I personally always wanted to get sleeves but i'm so thankful i didn't as i find clean skin more sexy and appealing. in my younger days i used to think it was too sexy to have tats, and on some people even now i find it can be sexy but in general over all i find clean skin to be the most sexually appealing especially when the clothes come off.. if i see tats i feel they are NOT naked and will never be fully naked lol

Frankly, anyone who does not have good aesthetic tastes should be banned from getting a tattoo. And if a man is rocking a full arm sleeve or a tribal tattoo, you should stay away from that dude.. Apart from that, unique tattoos can add extra attractiveness to an individual.

There needs to be a Maybe or Other option for this because I am okay with a few tattoos as long as they are attractive to look at. But I don't want a man that is covered in tattoos (I know, hate me if you want to, but I just don't find the whole body tattoo attractive in the least).

You are not alone. Tattoos are not for everybody. They are just a preference, same as color of your hair or your height/weight.

I'm ok with one or two tattoos as long as they're not offensive and they have a real meaning. But I wouldn't date a guy with tattoos all over his body.
