You have to find out what their 'hot button' topics are.

Ask, ..."What subjects do you like to talk about?" or, ..."What are your Happy subjects, what things make you smile when you discuss them?"

Then, once you know focus on those subjects.

Sometimes it is good to find out what subjects they don't like to talk about as well.

Already know who I am. I'm considered a bore amongst women more than guy's , because I don't do hardly any degenerate things & jump , shout like an enthusiastic person often. if I say something truthful I'm suddenly perceived as generalizing like for e. g this quote I agree with " people hate when you show them how it feels to be treated the way they treat you "
