That's a bad sign. If he still can't let go of his ex, there will always be a piece of him missing when you're with him. He can't lovely "completely", there will always be a part of him that's actively comparing you with the ex and missing not being able to spend time with her anymore.

He needs to start focusing on whether or not the relationship he is developing with you is working. He shouldn't be stuck in the past, remind him. Are you happy with him? You shouldn't be competing with his past. You both should enjoy each other 😊

Honestly it takes like a solid year to heal from a breakup, I realized this after each one I had ended for me personally, by year 2 though, I always feel more ready & open to date again!
