While me (26) and My ex (30) were together he would always tell me he loved me, we planned on getting engaged sometime this year, we moved in together, he got me pregnant and it really seemed like he loved me. After I got pregnant he broke up with me for his child’s mother. he moved out and moved in with her I did not hear from him for 2 months. recently he contacted me and apologized for his actions and asked for another chance I accepted his apology and he moved back in. a week later he told me he just wants to focus on his goals and don’t want to be in a relationship he said the same exact thing the first time he left me for his child’s mother. and he has also been spending a lot of nights somewhere else we are roommates not and he sleeps in the living room.
While we were together I put my all into the relationship I genuinely loved him and did a lot for him and I tried to be the best girlfriend I could be but it never seemed like that was enough why would he start a relationship with me if he could not leave his ex alone and still have feelings for her was this just a game to him Did he ever have feelings for me or Was I just a rebound and temporary entertainment for him?
