I have... it was weird. And I didn't know if she chose me at random or whether she was intentionally targeting me. Because I honestly had no idea who she was and I racked my brain trying to to figure out how she new me. From what? From where? Because she talked way too intimately.

And that was the only letter I ever got from her. So I'm chalking it up to someone who was mentally ill just got my name and address. What else could it logically be?

I mean the situation your describing was not my situation.
In the situation you're describing it would kind of depend on what the letter said. A woman who writes a guy a LOVE letter to a guy she barely knows is exhibiting OBSESSION not love. Now if the letter just innocently expressed her interest in getting to know me that's an entirely different matter. It would still take me time to develop interest in her either way.
