Dating is expensive. I remember in 2007 a medium sized pizza goes for 6 EUR and today i would pay over double the price for the same pizza (15 EUR minimum).

If i'm lucky ill find a girl to split the bill and order the bigger pizzas. Those are fairly cheaper in proportion to serving size. Sounds like me being a cheapskate? well then. We'll have to update the textbook definition of cheapskate and its another word for a broke person in 2023.

I suggest selective dates that actually are going somewhere--where you pay, or to agree to split, but if you plan to casually date often, and get to know more people, do coffee dates so they're not that expensive for you or the people you meet up with. Maybe not right away. I myself never really invited someone to come into my home (alone with me) upon first meeting, or even in the first few dates, and I didn't feel comfortable going to their home (alone) either. I did know a guy from work who I talked to daily and after several months he just up and asked me to come over for dinner. It was the sweetest thing. I felt it was okay since I worked with him and talked to him every day anyway, so that was the only exception.

Its a mystery to me how literal woman beaters and cheaters keep getting new girls on the regular. There is something about them that gets them the girls and i'm missing it. Probably they invade girls space and lay some compliments in risk of getting hostile treatment in return but they don't care.

I can't be unattractive. Like really. I still look for that thing that gets men girls.

In your case, don't be so concerned if your independence and knowing your worth is getting in the way. It doesn't. Sometimes it's a matter of just opening yourself up to be vulnerable to let another person in. Love is about taking risks. I'm afraid too many people are so afraid of rejection and being hurt that they instead completely wall themselves up so no one gets in. From my "interaction" with girls (like there are any) I get that same impression of "leave me be" type. And it is in a concerning scale at this point.
I don't know what I expected but rest assured i'll continue existing without a girlfriend.

I would never tell a man he's handsome if I didn't mean it. Besides, a lot of guys have attractive qualities that may not be an overall handsomeness about them, but definitely have appeal. Yes, girls do also wish for relationships if they've been single for a long time. If you can spot some signals where you have an opportunity, don't ignore them (unless you want to). Some women will make an attempt to get your attention, but if it doesn't work, they'll slink off and forget they tried if you don't notice them.

The same way like guys do through online dating. Because I heard a study once that 86% of women expect a guy to ask them out, 50% are afraid of doing so they probably prefer online dating therefore. I´m ok with investing 25-30€ in a pizza of a second person and I´m not rich, generous yes. (I rarely go on dates though). Because of current price developments due to inflation I would probably pay equally for everything if I cooked so there wouldn´t be that much of a difference from the financial aspects.
