Seriously, do you just spot some guy in the wild and go, "Hmmm, I'd like to be his girlfriend.", or do you just wait around for some guy to ask you out and, if he turns out to be a nice guy, you decide to stick with him?

Usually, women are being harassed all the time by males that cannot control their testosterone levels and unfortunately, that is how life is for a young woman. There is never peace, there is never the possibility to be left alone, there will always be one or more men that will attempt to get into a woman's pants. That is the sad truth about being a woman.

So, my tip to anyone in the same situation is to take your distance from those toxic men and players and be very selective. Do the choosing yourself based on what you believe a man should be and not based on the levels of testosterone they display and cannot control.

@Dongie Indeed, I do consider the males to be offensive until they can prove they are not. So far, not many have been able to prove that they are not, in a way or another, interested in getting into a girl's pants if they have the opportunity.

And I am not just talking about younger men but men in general. You will always find that if you let a male too close to you, they will start with innuendo, dirty jokes, sentences with double meanings, flirting and the like, becoming tactile, touching without having been invited to touch you.

Those represent more than 12-15%. Those represent 95%+ of the male gender. You seldom can be friends with a male without them starting to flirt. We all know what the definition of "flirting" is. Right. Should you have forgotten, here it is:

Well, that's not what I witness around here. I've only a few friends in their 30s but don't really get around a bunch of kids. I did encounter a bit of vulgarity and the like when I was younger. I witnessed ladies recoil, and usually, he stopped. I also watched the girl flirt back. A boy can flirt in an excepted manner. Or at least it was going on when I was young and it wasn't called what you said. If he was rude, she may call him a jerk. That was the dagger used then. Things are much worse, it seems from 30 years ago. Maybe I'm not fit to judge this. And I may shouldn't speak to some females on here unless they're in their 40s. But I've been attacked verbally for being a man by 18-24 year olds. As though I haven't the same right to express my opinion when it's different from theirs. If a guy is treating you like a stripper in a club, he could get tapped, and I would applaud the guy that did it. I think we both deserve respect until it's lost by some fowl deed. One that comes from both, depending on the person. I don't believe a person shouldn't receive respect until it's earned. If respect is not given, it surely will not be returned.

That is extremely easy if you are young (teens and early twenties) and pretty. Just a smile will suffice. The problem is getting top quality guys that will commit.

Of course we are taken, even if we are not, if we are not interested. Moreover, even if we have a boyfriend, we are looking for an upgrade. and as soon as we are certain, we pounce. As a girl, it is my responsibility to make the first move, typically be smiling and saying "Hi" to indicate that I'm approachable. If I don't do that or at least something to indicate I'm willing to approached, if you approach me, that is sexual harassment.

A good way to meet guys is to go to or show up at a party. At college there are parties every weekend. Pretty college age girls don't need an invitation. If we show up, we are welcome.
