How do you get a boyfriend?

I just got out a 1 and a half year relationship 2 months ago and I don’t know where to start? I’m 18 and I don’t have any male friends or guys I know that can set me up. Since we broke up I’ve been generally looking at guys, not approaching but just seeing what was around me and almost all the guys I’ve seen are not people I’d be interested in at all (guys at school since don’t really speak to guys in public)

I have looks preferences and whatever but this isn’t even a looks thing they’re genuinely unfit to date at all as people. I don’t even remember how I got boyfriend in the first place. At the time I just had a lot of guys who dmed me, now my dms are desert dry… I’m avoiding dating apps for now since I’m still in high school and it’s mostly littered with guys who want to hookup and much older men who want to date someone barely legal. What should I do, how do you get a boyfriend?

Here are some tips on how to get a boyfriend:

Don't sweat it girl, you jus got out a relationship so take some you time first. Ain't no need to rush into anything new.

But if you feel ready to mingle, put yourself out there! Join some clubs or activities around school so you meet new peeps. Even just talking to random cute guys more could lead somewhere, you never know!

Make sure to put on Snap so folks can see your story, maybe you'll catch someone peeking they profile. Dress cute and show off your confidence too, that's always attractive.

Flirt a little if you vibe with a guy. Smile, compliment em, ask questions to get to know em. See if they seem interested and wanna kick it more. Exchange snaps or numbers if it feels right.

Don't be afraid to make the first move either if you really dig a guy. We love that! Just do it smooth and don't come on too strong at first.

I mean guys have to be aware of your existence... but as long as they're aware of you, all you need to do most likely is filter through the simps until you find one you're okay with. This is one thing females have the overwhelming advantage with, as someone will always want you... especially at your age. They just have to be made aware of your existence.

For the most part, I think it's best to "wait it out". Be yourself, live life, and a Man will introduce himself into your life.

do things that interest you and talk to people that interest to. i wouldn't approach it as getting a boyfriend, but to putting yourself out there and being receptive to new things.

I probably wouldn’t push to really date again until you graduate. A lot is going to change over the next year or two and dating can make things complicated.
