I believe my guy best friend has feelings for me. What can I do to get him to confess?

Ever since I started dating my boyfriend, my guy best friend has been acting weird. The thing’s he’s done are:
- Trying to prove my boyfriend was a liar and that I was blinded by love
- Tell me that a long distance relationship won’t work out because people act different outside of the internet (which is understandable, but he’s far away from me too)
- Try to get my boyfriend to prove to him that my boyfriend loves me
- Asked me out on April Fools Day
- Ask my boyfriend questions to see if my boyfriend knows me well
- When another friend of ours asked if I was giving my boyfriend the answers, my guy best friend said: Nah, she’s just chillin’. I Can feel her, I can feel her chillin’
- And when I told him I was feeling depressed, he asked me what was going on; and when I that I wanted to do things to myself, he said: yeah, don’t do that
- He also told me not to say that I can’t get rid of my depression (he said it in a sympathetic way. And when he walked what was going on, and when he told me not to do things to myself. He sounded sympathetic).

Since all signs (to me anyways) seem to point to him having feelings for me; how do I get him to confess?

Why wouldn't he tell the truth? If he's not gunna be truthful with you there, when is he gunna truthfully do it? It's also worth a try anyways on the offchance he does tell you the truth, doesn't have any risk to it.
Otherwise any other route you're gunna take is to essentially play him and that's really shitty.

I'm not going to harp on the guy for asking you out on April Fools Day when you want to lead him on to get him to confess.
Here's what you do, ask to talk to him, ask him if he likes you, then bring up all this weird behavior and how it makes you feel, and you'll likely get your confession, and if not, you'll get him to stop the behavior, and if not that, then you know to stop being friends with him because he doesn't respect your boundaries.

You’re right. There may still be some attraction, but it could be because of the one thing he said that triggered me recently. I love my boyfriend a lot and I couldn’t stand losing him, but I don’t wanna lose my best guy friend either.

Well, you're in a difficult spot where you might need to choose between one or the other. Friendships typically fall once one has fallen for the other, either they upgrade or deconstruct. Not always but, more often than not.
The best thing you can do still is talk to him about it to see where he even stands, and then if he confesses try to figure out where you stand. (And if he doesn't confess, you should consider that your answer and move on from it)
If you try to get him to confess by leading him on, and do anything but date him, you will lose your best friend, at least eventually. If you talk with him about it, he might still be your friend even if you reject him.
The only other option you could do is wait until he legitimately confesses, but you won't be able to solve the issues you're currently having with that method, and you're just delaying the inevitable, possibly worsening the odds of keeping the friendship, but I guess you keep the friendship for longer.
