Cannot just date anyone, I have to be friends with them beforehand. Is there something wrong with me?

I cannot imagine dating someone before being friends with them in the first place. I find it gross. Cannot trust and establish anything. Is there something wrong with me?

No that’s pretty normal and I think that’s a good thing. You should have a foundation of friendship before you start dating a person, in my opinion.
