So a friend I like constantly tells me we are going to get married in 5 years. Even though I declined out of the probability it won’t happen she insists. I then confessed how I felt about her over text and asked if we could pursue a relationship instead of waiting in 5 years. She hesitantly says things like “we don’t know each other that well” “ we don’t know if we’d work out” “there is no going back if we start this” but not giving me a clear no. Is she just letting me down easily or hesitant. (Since that conversation she told me she’d be back a month later to continue this conversation but hasn’t initiated any texts since)
