Make something of yourself? Pretty close to a rule.

The key is though, you choose what to make of yourself. If I want to be the world's best Tetris player, charity baker, parent, so on is up to me. Or in your case, you. It tends to be the drive more so than the specific ambition that is attractive.

You can aim for simple, normal, attainable things and that will still be attractive. All you need is forward momentum. Or at least a thick enough head to keep trying.

Obviously conquering the world would work. Or well, maybe. Having conquered would work. If you can wrap that up by like.. 30. Otherwise you might be better off learning to converse, flirt and tell a joke.

Most decent / respectable women AND men want a partner who has ambition. That way they know in relationships this person has value, is responsible & reliable.

Nobody honestly wants a male or female whore, a couch potato, a leech, a contribute little value, a drunkard / druggie, high school failure, abusive nature, personality problems, jobless, etc. unless they're the same, desperate or due to their own lousy reputation they can't get anyone better.

Because if you pay attention the people who go for the second paragraph they're very often hardly a catch themselves.

Take my neighbor years ago. The husband was an abusive loser and the wife had the 20-30s reputation of sleeping with half the town. Neither were people anyone else wanted & so they went with each other.

I work with 99% women. They want the men to take care of them and their offspring.
on the other hand, I have already made something fir myself/my family/kids… I want to conquer the world…but I don’t think that’s possible so I will just learn to be contend.
