So this all started about a week ago. I'd stop liking this guy for about a month because I knew it was never gonna work. And I've always had an interest in this one guy which will call him Dave (not his real name). Once I was forsure that I liked him I told my friend (we will call her lexi) about it and she got his number for me. So once I got it I sent just a simple hi and we talked for a little bit. Then I didn't want to seem pushy so I stopped talking for about a day.

Little did I know somebody made a video about us on a account.

Here's where another person comes in. There's this guy which I know he has a crush on me through Lexi. So he's been crushing on me for a while. We'll call him Marcus. So Marcus saw the video and got jealous about it. And because he was jealous he sent the video to me and started asking me who I liked. Obviously not wanting to hurt His feelings I told him that I can't tell him. Well then he started texting Lexi about it saying that he was gonna text Dave and ask him if he liked me.

So he texted Dave and he ended up replying with no. I didn't expect him to say yes in the first place because we don't even know each other. So then Marcus tells Lexi and Lexi then tells me. Now the issue with this is now Dave knows that there's something going on between me and him.

Trying to waiting even longer to text him so it Didn't connect the dots. Well just yesterday I was talking to my friend and she asked me if she could talk to Dave. Which after what had just happened I immediately told her no and that she's not allowed to talk to him about me. What little did I know she went and talked to him and asked if he liked me.

Now it's super obvious that I like him because people keep asking him this question. I got really mad at Lexie because she wasn't supposed to talk to him even though she did. And to be honest I still am mad because now it's super awkward. And I tried to talk to her about it and how I asked her not to and she still did it she just shrugged it off and said " he's not into taller girls anyway" and "well he doesn't even like you anyway".

He even was talking to his friends about me we're not sure what he was saying but I'm guessing it was pretty negative. And I feel like everything would have been fine if Lexie would have just listened to me. But instead she had to do what she wanted which is ruining my situation. Even so it wasn't even her business it was mine.

So she texted me earlier today and continued telling me about how her crush likes her and everything is so awesome and amazing😒🙄. Is it bad to not feel happy for her especially after what she did for me? Like I want to be happy but now she is getting all the positive stuff and I'm stuck with the negative bc she sabotaged me. My crush clearly thinks am annoying even though I haven't even talked to him, and I am mad at lexi. What do I do? My plan was to not talk to him for a very long time so we could start fresh. But at this point idek.
