For me, it's never about "good enough". It's just about "New". A new girl is new, and new is attractive. That's all there is to it.

My girlfriend is good enough, but I still look at other girls because other girls are different. Not better, just new and different.

I'm not going to act on it, and I'm going to be very discreet about it, but I will keep looking.

I'd say the problem is that your boyfriend isn't being very subtle about it.
