Why does a past abortion affect finding a future relationship?

Some guys found out I had an abortion in the past and most of them do not want to be in a relationship with me because of that and it is upsetting me very much and if some guys find out about it they don't want to be in my life. They think I have bad intentions because of my past relationship. What should I do? I really want to find a guy I want to be in a relationship with and it's hard because they may find out about this.

It's so annoying the way most men are so anti-abortionist. But I guess if they're going to be anti-marriage as well (but you want to get married), maybe you can remind them to have a compromise.

Maybe the reason why they don't want to be with you is that it demonstrates that you could go behind their backs and have an abortion of their child. So they have trust issues with you know. I guess as long as they live up to their own high standards of not breaking people's trust by cheating, then I guess you can't do anything.

Getting an abortion after speaking about it with the then-daddy is one thing. Getting an abortion without the knowledge or communication is another.

Absolutely it's your right to get one, but are you sure they're reacting to just the act of the abortion?

It wouldn't bother me if it had been an early-term abortion. I would only have serious questions if she had gotten more than one because it might indicate that she was an irresponsible person. It depends upon the circumstances.

But I could understand one abortion. I had two different girlfriends who had gotten pregnant from their first boyfriends when they were young and naive. They got early term abortions and learned their lessons.

So the end objective of any healthy romantic/sexual relationship is to produce viable offspring that grow to maturity and continues life. You've already shown that you murder children and don't even give them a chance to succeed. While there is a lot that happens before a couple decides to raise children together, you've already proved you are not capable of playing your role.

If you have had issues before where men find out and balk at moving forward with you, then the obvious answer is to do what women already know to do with their sexual history.. take it to the grave.
