When you've done all you can and they still don't change. So when they start bitchin or whatever set a hard boundary and rule. If they keep saying omg I'm so ugly/fat/skinny etc and if you buy into it every while and give suggestions you're only exhausting your energy and boosting their ego.

So next time set a boundary or just get up and go in the bathroom. So that eventually they'll get conditioning to stop talking like that.

why is it you have to change a person, it could be assumed that you at one point liked them for who they were but now you want that person to change. This is something that has always made me wonder.

Never said anything about change. It's just annoying when suggestions are given, and then the person just repeats said actions and then complains all over again. So there's nothing wrong with setting boundaries.

And your correct, there is nothing wrong with setting boundaries, but they should be set from the beginning.

That is terrible advice, but it does follow suit to the huge lack of communication problem we have in the world.
It's my opinion that maybe you should need more maturity before fucking with the lives of others.

It's no wonder divorce rates and domestic violence is ridiculously high.
