At what point in your life do you understand to give up on someone or walk away regardless of their circumstance?

I understood the principle of sacrifice the day I started school.

To me, I placed education higher than any kind of relationship because most often, relationships are ephemeral and cause more problems than they solve.

I am still abiding by the rule I impose myself and I don't date, I don't fornicate and I certainly don't manipulate my body.

My education has top priority and I am doing everything possible to keep it that way. I don't let myself be distracted by trivial things like a relationship. I don't walk away from them, I do avoid them but the end result is the same.
