I knew this guy for over a year and recently found out he is in a 2 year relationship with a girl in Thailand. He says he thinks about me all the time but wants to try and make it work with her first.

He regularly messages me saying how great and pretty I am. That I'm the better choice, but he can't let the Thai girl go until he physically goes there to see if there are any sparks between them still. If not, he says he'll start a relationship with me. He seems so confused.

I tell him to be faithful to her and keep a platonic relationship between us, but he won't stop trying to string me along. Should I move on and tell him to stop contacting me?

Update: I told him what I thought and how I felt and he said he's never been so offended. He then blocked me so that's that I guess.
