Is it true when a guy says he's too busy to be in a relationship?

There is a saying that a guy would put in effort to be with a girl no matter how busy he is, but can he really be too busy to commit or that's an excuse to let a girl down?

I've never said to anybody "too busy for you"

but I sure have decided not to be in a relationship when I really didn't have as much time or rather say, flexibility when I started my own business and then the pandemia hit us on top of that, lmao...

I just knew very well that I was not going to be reliable enough to make someone else feel fulfilled with a better relationship

if I had to make someone struggle with that kind of stuff, in which I say yes to any plan and then cancel at last minute, or even drop it during in the middle it because I had to take care of something at work, well no... I would never do that to anybody

I never used it an excuse to turn down anybody, but I just didn't pursue any relationship at the time being

If a guy says he is "too busy," his excuse may simply be a lie and an excuse, but it doesn't matter. He is clearly saying that he is no attracted and doesn't want to spend time with you pursuing any romantic involvement. What else do you need to know before you walk away from him?

Here's the thing: sometimes life really is too busy to entertain much more than what you have to do.

That doesn't mean he wouldn't love a chance with you. But it does mean he can't give you the time you both know a proper relationship deserves.

That's just how it is.

Could he make time? Yes.

But sometimes doing so would mean negatively affecting all those other things he's doing. And he's not willing to do that.

That's just how it rolls.

You're not not attractive or not worth it. He just made the call to prioritize other priorities for him right then. He just has different priorities and that's not an insult or dig - it's just where he's at.

It can be true I suppose but in most instances it is because he doesn’t like the girl enough. It doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with her, she just isn’t it for that particular guy. In my experience if a man likes a woman it doesn’t matter how busy he is he will make time for her and pursue her. So if you’re experiencing this with someone right now I wouldn’t sweat it too much. Mourn the loss and move on to the next one

He IS too busy. For YOU. At a minimum. Maybe too busy for everyone, but at the end of the day the outcome is the same for YOU, which is all you need to concern yourself with. Go find someone who isn't and move on. It's not worth the mental energy.

Nobody was busier than I was when i was going with my ex. U was a full time student in a very challenging course. I had to work a part time job to pay for it and I commuted to school every day. Somehow I found the time to write to her at least once a week and scraped up enough money to fly out to see her a couple of times a year. i made it a priority.

Guys who haven't had a ton of sex yet in his life will aways make time for sex. Dating/relationship? In the past guys would but most guys now are not interested in anything in the commitment area. Most women who still seek actual dates to marriage are obvious to men hence men let them down. But he goes home kicks on an app and has a one to some people over for sex.

My schedule is or can be horrendous, I can be out of town for days, work 24 to 48 hours at a crack, doesn't leave a lot of time to even wash my tidy whities much less date.
