Is it correct if a girl gives her number to a guy she likes even though he doesn't ask it?

Normally a guy should be the one to take initiative, but the problem should be if he doesn't know there is a girl who has a crush on him and maybe affection is reciprocate.

In that case can the girl take the initiative and give him her call number?, or should she wait for him and in case he doesn't, she has to go on?

I'll tell you right now I NEVER ask for a woman's number. So If she wants me to have it she'll have to give it to me. I don't give my phone number out willy nilly and I don't expect her to. I've also learned that a woman giving you her phone number doesn't necessarily mean anything. It could simply be her wanting the attention of you calling her. She could do that with a 1000 guys.

So my take is you're overthrowing this. Give your phone number to the guy you truly want to have it. And then don't beat yourself up over what does or does not happen. One thing life has taught me is you can only control the controllable. Be a good person, and then try not to worry about people who are not.

Guys are lousy mind readers, so it can be helpful to make yourself known to him, but start small, not large. For instance, you wouldn't start contact by sending him a nude picture of yourself. Start off by letting him know you value something he said or did. Guys are less likely than girls to appreciate compliments on how they look. You can also ask for help, showing you believe he has the ability to provide the help you are seeking. You can also offer to help him, showing him you can relate to what he is doing and would like to join in. Offering your number out of the blue will catch most guys off guard, and not in a comfortable way.

Your gender doesn’t mean you can’t take initiative. In my experience at least, most guys seem to dig it.
