People who are only connected to you on the internet for chatting usually do it to escape and get easy thrills. They aren't chatting to be honest about their RL lives. They're in an alternate universe where they can meet and chat with people they don't in RL. If he's ghosted you, well, maybe he felt guilty or his girl found out.
