That's the key here. If even one of them realise that fighting just isn't serving anything good to anyone, the quarrel will stop and most probably won't happen again.
However, no realisation and always blaming the other in every scenario is just gonna drag the fighting forever.

sometimes, people just grow up... other times one of them gets murdered, lol
