All I want to do is talk to my boyfriend but he's with his family for Thanksgiving probably watching the game rn so he won't respond probably but I just want to send him a funny text to make him laugh. Should I send it anyways or leave him be?

I did already and he was cool with it. He even laughed at the text I sent. I realized it's not that serious to send a funny text while he was with the fam. We ended up talking later that night too. He called me after he got done with his family. We're long distance so every chance we get to communicate is needed.
