Ask a crush second time?

Hi, I have had a crush for a year and half. I have one day the courage to ask her out, but unfortunately she has had a boyfriend at the time abd rejected me. I kept still being friendly with her and learned recently she broke up with him few months or so ago... I still have a crush on her all that time. Do you think I should ask her again? she's so sweet around me. Im afraid she will say no, again. What if she is seeing someone already? I feel like Ill look like a fool for trying again? I'm being tormented by these questions for the past week. Would you ask again somone who rejected you before? If you say ask, should I ask her for a coffee or dinner?

Personally I'd expect her to ask me. You've already made it clear you were interested and she said no. If she's into you because things have changed, she can ask you. It's 2023. If she's interested enough she'll grow a backbone.

*ps, you can show you are still interested by saying things like 'I'm thinking of seeing xyz at the cinema, it looks fun' in passing conversation. If she's into you, she'll ask if she can join you.

I wish there was a movie worth a watch rn. I havnt found tge new movies to be worth a watch at all. Maybe you have a tip for a movie in theaters rn that would interest us both? hahaha, Its not like in early 2000s where most movies were actually good

Yeah well I mean it doesn't have to be a movie. It could be 'I keep meaning to try out go-karting some time' or 'it's such good weather... think I'll go to the beach this weekend' or 'do you know, I've just realised I've NEVER gone bowling'.

Cinema these days isn't so good it's true lol

nothing ventured nothing gained. go for it man. if she says no, my advice would be to hide any disappointment and appear positive. then i guess you could decide how much you’d want to hang around her after that. but hopefully she says yes
