Man, that's tricky. Being shy to laugh around a girl is just cuz he's still feeling you out I think. Guys don't like to seem dumb in front of someone they like, even if it's just laughing loud.

He probably thinks too much about how he looks when he's with you. Wants to seem cool and in control. But laughing is natural and you want him comfortable.

Few things you could try:

- Be really chill yourself when you guys hang. Show him your laugh is cute and you don't judge.

- Tell some funny stories yourself and laugh loud to give him the green light.

- Compliment him in a casual way when he does let loose. Like "I like when you really laugh, it's cute".

- suggest watching comedy shows together so y'all have an excuse to bust up.

Give it time too. He'll ease up more as he relaxes in your presence. Don't wanna pressure him and make it worse ya feel me? Just keep livin in your free spirit self and eventually he'll follow. Chill vibes help shy dudes break out of their shell. You got this girl!

Ahh gotcha, even after a year that's still real shy of him! But I get it too, sometimes it's just hard to fully cut loose no matter how long you're together.

Maybe try busting out some really funny videos when you're chilling together, stuff that's guaranteed to get anyone cackling. Make sure you're both wearing headphones or something so you can both laugh as loud and weird as you want without worrying about it!

Also try sneaking up and tickling him or something when he least expects it. Gotta catch him by surprise so he can't hold back the loud laughs haha. Might make him realize there's nothing to be shy about and help him relax.
