How do I make a shy guy comfortable?

How do I go about trying to get to know a shy guy that’s into me. He’s actually a really talkative guy but with everyone and anyone else but when it comes to me he becomes awkward. He’s been making an effort to try and say hi to me when he sees me but never converses or texts me. What are some things i can do to push things along into a more comfortable place?

Come up with things to talk to him about. You don't have to go full frontal assault. Just ask him a question, maybe a followup question. Let it progress as he feels comfortable. Maybe the next day ask him another question. You're letting him acclimate to you. Hopefully over time he'll start initiating the conversation

Just make it painfully obvious you are into him and ego stroke him. He needs the confidence to come out of his shell.

Tell him you like him. Then ask him what would make him most comfortable you asking him questions or does he want to ask you some.
