I haven't but not necessarily opposed to it if it's secure. But usually by that point, phone numbers are already exchanged.

Discord is an app that was originally designed for gaming for people to connect with each other that has evolved to a community app of sorts that makes chatting, messaging, groups, communities and the like easy.

Highly recommended even if you don't play games. Voice calls, video calls, and streaming are all easy.

I think thwre must be some. Video calls but you could swap numbers and use whatsapp
