Would you judge someone if they ever had a dating app?

So i’m 19 and I go to community college where there’s obv little socialization. I haven’t dated anyone in about 4 years cause I haven’t crushed on someone in a long time (during quarantine esp I was not taking to guys at all) . My friends at university seem to lowkey all get action and boyfriends I feel extremely lonely/I feel behind. My friends have been suggesting me to try out Hinge or other dating apps. I never EVER considered dating apps before bc I did not want to seem desperate but my friends tell me it’s not shameful to have an account. I’m deadass afraid of being called a h03 for having an account but dating apps feel like my only option now. I feel like i’m losing self respect going on the app but I don’t want to miss out on having fun like everyone else and meeting people while i’m still young. Do people actually have long lasting relationships on hinge? Would doing hook up’s be bad for my self esteem? I’ve already made my profile but i’m just waiting to hit the unpause button to reveal my account to others. any advice on my situation? or if u have dating app experience, is it worth it?

I was on dating apps, but these mf's don't let Free messaging, unless you pay a crazy amount of money. Its all a scam... like i receive lots of messages and profile views, and when i become VIP all that stops, which is obviois that are AI/BOT generated. Most of the conversations don't make sense, as they are just generated, you can tell by the artoculated phrases that nothing is real. For ex: "like to have a coffe, at my place or yours?"... i answer : i would love that...
Then the reply comes (if is a real person) Hi what's you'r name? What do you mean you'll Love that?
Like they don't know what i'm talking about...🤷‍♂️, so that show's me that there is No One Real there and all the convo is AI/BOT generated, just to make revenue, so i gave up that bs.

No, I think everyone tried it at least once out of curiosity.. and there's legit couples who meet on them.. some people think you're automatically so desperate if you use one.. but who cares about what idiots think lol..
