In theory it's to mitigate issues in the company. But HRs main job is to protect the company from liability.
Granted but it still begs the Q, is the line that serious? Or are women more ok with jokes or compliments?
Eh depends on the girl, honestly. I don't usually care what someone tells me at work unless it's pretty fucked up. But usually good humor is appreciated, compliments may be flattering but it can often sound like bullshit even when the guys being genuine
