Please help advice about HR at work issue, why are they doing this , what could be their motive?

On sick with role specific injuries. I've said it's not incapacity to work to Occupational health, manager and HR. . I'm for fit employment, but the role I'm in is a health and safety risk. I can do alternative duties or if my own role restructure as well as adjustments. He's told me there's no alternative duties.

I see an occupational health Doctor on 12 Feb. My fit note ends next week Manager said get fit note next week up to 12 Feb. Date I see Dr.

I'm supposed to start getting statutory sick on 12. He said then when get Drs report they'll make their decision. I'm concerned why I'm told to get fit note only up to 12. The thing is if the Dr doesn't send them his report until 15 or 20 or longer I'll have no income.

I live in the UK. Do I have to do what he says and get fit note up to 12. They'll be a pay gap and I'll have no income. What could be his motive for doing this, what should I do.
