Why does sex of a person matter when dating? Shouldn't it be the character of the person?

Courtship has always primarily been about finding a mate for companionship and procreation. That is it happens before creation... The couple courting needs to be physically able of producing offspring together. They need to be able to unify as one to create life. They must favor life and creation. That is you need one man and one woman. If you're anti-creation as part of some death cult that thinks creation is evil and you have the end goal of being a genetic dead end that doesn't procreate, then there is no need to court anyone. You don't need to marry and become one. No court needs to judge if you are worthy and able to create a new healthy baby that will have good character and stick by your mate to raise said child together into a functioning human. No one needs to judge if you are humble, self sacrificing, submissive, and redeeming to your mate.
