Is there any Shame of coming out of a relationship of convenience and not realizing until it’s over?

Like in the moment not understanding why there was no attempt to get on the same page and realizing that it was never about the relationship it was about conveniences such as living in a luxary style apartment and splitting costs, splitting costs on a car and car Insurance or in this case me co signing with her so she could get the car cause her income wasn’t high enough but ultimately me losing rights to the car and completely having to get my own because of her job. Or if she’s mad coming home venting to me about her issues but if i experience something I just have to internalize it cause she doesn’t give a damn.

No shame at all in getting outta something like that once you realized, bro. could've happened to anyone. And hindsight's always 20/20 - easier to see it was all just using you after it's done, ya know?

At least now you can dodge wasting any more time on someone who don't really care. Just sucks bout the car stuff, but good lesson learned there too for the future.

Don't beat yourself up man. Just be glad you see through the BS now before getting deeper in. Remember this experience to spot the users from now on.
