Are relationships now disposable?

Do you think we live in a world were relationships are now disposable? Were few want to buy in the work required to make them work?

I was watching a video and some fathers started talking about this related to their daughters.

Overall I don't think so. I think there are a few people obviously that don't want to put the work in anymore but that's with anything. Even outside of a relationship you have people that don't want to put any work in at all on anything and feel entitled.

In my experience relationships aren’t worth putting any effort into. The more effort you put in the more she’ll just exploit that effort for her own benefit and never return the favor.

That would be in line with what I've seen and heard. The "if it's not perfect, it's not worth it" mentality doesn't help, either.
