Why do modern day relationships rarely hold?

Why do modern relationships rarely hold and just jump from one person to another. Is it because people don't learn to work around problems and have become narcissistic. And both go in with in with the mindset that they can just be replaced and never put in work into a relationship. Or is it because people have got it too easy because the government allows people to leech of each other and live comfortably even as a single parent which should not be normal.

Cheating is now deemed as normal or just tolerated which causes good relationships to be even harder to have. Modern relationships are increasingly toxic as no one learns what you should to have a healthy relationship.

Power equation changed and men haven’t updated their relational skills… and women are as complex as ever. There’s lots of options and distractions around so when trouble comes… it seems easier to bail out than to address the issues and grow. Basically… people are selfish and have the means to stay that way vs changeS

Hypergamy, is something that women deny and men do not understand or plan for.

Hypergamy doesn't make sense when you think about it long enough and neither does it from natural perspective for women. Women need commitment which is hard to get for them. When a woman is in a relationship most men who interact with her will just want to sleep with her nothing else, they want to spread their seed and let someone else raise their child. "The classical bastard child." They don't want to be with them only a quick fuck and nothing else. If she would leave her current relationship to chase someone else she could end up alone which is against women's natural instinct for safety.

If males could naturally know who's child they have in front by scent then the problem of fathering someone elses kid would never happen.

The hypergamy bull-crap only happened because the government supports women with money and if they end up alone they would starve out. Without any help from someone else women would cling onto a man and think long before cheating on their man.

The less benefits cheating gives the less likely it is to be done. But the government seems to push it to have benefits. If you knew you'd be kicked out and end up homeless you wouldn't cheat. Its simple when you dismantle it.

The logic from what women work is quite easy to understand but most don't see the variables in it.
