This ranges from partner to partner. Have had relations where not talking for days was perfectly normal. Probably gone a week without a word.

Also had the ones where if 12 hours ever went by without contact I was assumed dead and they would be beating on my door ready to burst it open and perform CPR on their must be dying boyfriend.

Generally I prefer to at least talk every day. Even if its just a quick check in.

Sometimes we both get busy and we already know we're gonna see eachother at the end of the day and catch up. Even though sometimes even that had to wait for the morning.
