He asked for if I was married?

we are friends but not super good friends. We know each other and say hi and how you been? Here and there. We go to the same youth group and he is 20 and I’m 17. Almost 18. And he asked me if I was married. I thought it was kinda weird cause I’m 17. But also cause the ring that I was wearing was on my right hand. I explained to him that it’s a purity ring. The pastor and him chose it a several months back, for everyone who wanted one. I brushed it off didn’t think much of it but the other day, I saw him again after 3 weeks of not seeing him also when he asked me that question. And that day he asked me again 😭. Both times I said no I’m not married, I said it friendly of course but I’m like whaaaaa😵‍💫 he cannot be fr. This day he also made longer eye contact, noticed my lipstick (said “you got lipstick on”), was more courteous with the door. Things like that. I’m just wondering if he is interested in me and what other signs should I look for if that is the case cause I don’t want to presume
