For some background, we dated 3 years ago for a few months, were apart the last 2 years and realized we both couldn’t move on from each other.

So, he asked me out the other night. When we first saw each other it was like in the movies, sparkles were in our eyes and I basically ran to him and hugged him. I almost cried.. We went out to dinner and the dinner date lasted several hours because we couldn’t stop talking and laughing. It was the best date I’ve ever been on. We went back to his place and I spent the night. We stayed up like all night just having a lot of fun and during the night while we were cuddling on his couch, he asked me to be his girlfriend. He said it was obvious we had great chemistry and the love was still there and he didn’t want to date anyone else. I felt the same. This isn’t moving too fast is it? Has anyone else become exclusive date one?

I’d say it’s too fast seeing as the last time you dated him was two years ago. He’s definitely rushing things - sounds like he’s lonely and desperate which isn’t a good sign. If you feel okay with it, go for it, but I’d be more careful.
