Why do people play with people's feelings?

Control? To feel others in the palm of your hand, to keep or to throw away at will. To raise their own twisted ego, to raise their dopamine levels, the rush of adrenaline, (like gambling or stealing) “the I didn’t get caught but got what I wanted.” sort of thing.


I don’t play with others feelings (I’ve never been given the chance to honestly) but I’m self aware. I’m in my head a lot and I’m practical half the time, I’ve seen others ruin themselves over other peoples attention etc. And So in turn I try to make sense of it and this is my own conclusion.

Sometimes it's not intentional but that doesn't matter. Some people get an ego trip and don't care who they have to take down in the process.

I think it’s really disrespectful, and I honestly don’t know why people do it either. But my take on this is that some people probably just like to mess with other people’s feelings, and this kinda proves who they are as a person.

But yeah it’s most likely to toy with others feelings and gain a sense of control from it. My best advice is to avoid those people if you can, since they most likely are bad people and you keep those out of your life. There are plenty of fish in the sea, let the good ones come to you.
