+1 yFrom reading your posts, she's hurt by her past relationship and feels insecure. She needs a confident, secure, and strong man to provide for her and her daughter. I think she saw a bit of insecurity from you, something you both have in common. She needs someone who fits her needs. She's terrible for using you and you should definitely reconsider just focusing your attention on only her. There are people who you can flirt with and find happiness with. Because you really like her though, you can still support her. She's already established you as her "friend" material. I'm sorry for the pain you must be in but you seem like a really nice guy. :) You will find someone if you continue smiling and being confident enough to keep meeting new people.

It sounds like she doesn't really know how to feel about you or the guy that she is having trouble with. Give her some time to figure her feelings out and get back to her. Try to cheer her up somehow. Maybe take her daughter and her to the zoo or something. Anyway, she needs someone there for her and you seem like the guy to do be there for her. You definitely have to be careful and try to pay attention to what she says. She might indirectly hint that she needs time alone.
- +1 y
Then I wish you luck and that you focus on yourself and try not to think too much about her. It's possible that she could get back with her ex and that would hurt.
- +1 y
You cared enough to post about it for a while though. She must mean a little bit to you.
- +1 y
Then I think you know what you will do. :) Good luck
- +1 y
That definitely might seem like you're mad at her then. Especially if she's being ignored. Does she know how you felt during those two days?

Pretty vague. She probably doesn't think she's playing with your emotions. Girls make jokes as do men. she's not being cruel or anything i dont think. If you're into her though you should tell her. If she's a sarcastic bitch like myself, teasing and poking fun might be her idea of flirting

I feel you, and as little as two inches seems its actually more than you might realize. Chicks, including myself, like a little hight. Being the same, or even an inch taller, just doesn't cut it for some chicks. Its a shallow flaw we posses as humans to care about something as insignificant as hight, but its actually something that comes up a lot. Being tall 'enough' is a thing. And if she says you're not tall enough, and you in fact know you're not very tall, she is probably already being honest with you in a way she thinks will keep the friendship in tact
Everyone does it, if you want clear signs and answer be blunt and ask if she is attracted, likes you, wants you, etc. :)

Ik she does like to an extreme amount of time to get someone because she's worried about getting burned, and when I mean extreme like 3 months before she's willing to date or try a relationship, we have really good chemistry, I can talk to her about anything and feel comfortable that she's not gonna make fun of me or judge me, she's not the greatest looking to most people but to me she opened my eyes and I can see past some of her outside flaws and see she a good strong women
- +1 y
OMG that's cute shyt lol Sorry for cussing but I LOVE how you're into her but she does seem like she doesn't want to be hurt it's only natural. I'm the same way, it happens, we just need a guy who we can relate to, be comfortable with, trust, have chemistry with, etc. to make us let that fear go away. Patience my friend. :)

She's awesome, she's like the coolest person I've ever met (I really hate and dislike most people, but not her), I'm just worried she doesn't like me and I'll feel like everything will be for nothing, we've talking almost nonstop for 2 months, gone out to lunch once, she brings me coffee at work on Saturdays when she can. We've gone to a party and all of this was her doing with the exception of lunch because I asked her to lunch one day, but everything else is her

Awkwardness and shyness, we went to dinner a couple weeks ago as friends (she asked if it was a date b4 hand but I didn't want to say it was and freak her out) so I just said as friends and we went to dinner we talked she has a daughter who just turned 1 so I was playing with the daughter why she ate, after dinner, were sitting in her car and were talking, and I asked if next we can go to dinner as a date and not as friends and she said " I knew you were gonna ask that" and she smiled and laughed and I said is that yes or no, she said " I don't know maybe"

I think, because of her daughter, I can understand this she has to what's best for her and put her 1st, which I completely understand, my mom was a single mom for along time, but outside of that she fearful of making the same mistake as she did with her ex, she's told me about her ex and I've met him a shovel has more brains then him she said that too, and I agreed with her. It's been almost a year since they broke up and they were engaged and he cheated on her with a one night stand, she found out the next day and then 3 days later he was on to a new women, which makes me think that she's worried that giving her heart to someone like she did and it may get broken again

When me and her 1st met I didn't really have much of an interest in her, we talked but not all that much and we had hung out twice and I eventually built feelings, for her well at the time she had already been 3 months removed from her ex, so I asked her out thinking I was ok and we she agreed but she ended up standing me up, which as soon that happened I was done or I thought, she was going out with another guy for like 3 months they break up and within about 2 weeks she starts talking to me again I was really busy with work and didn't really have time for her, so we went our separate ways again and then about 2 months ago, she sends me 2 snapchats and we picked off were we left off, and ever since then we haven't stopped talking

Read it. Well she is hot and cold with you but can't decide if she wants to be serious or not. She has to stop wasting your time, I know I wouldn't be leading someone on or giving mixed signals. I suggest you ask her what's up and just spill what you feel. Only if you feel comfortable doing so without sounding harsh though.
- +1 y
Wait what? She did all of that and STILL considered you a "really good friend" that's a major burn by her. Oh that's messed up, so she was using you? No good man, guess just a big flirt & tease. I'm sure she'll come back crawling and begging to be with you, I have a feeling. smh.

Earlier today I sent her another message that I want some space away from so I can lose my feelings, I after I sent it I felt really miserable, but as I was driving home from class i started thinking of all the reasons I shouldn't go with her, she degraded me by telling me I don't make a enough money for her a couple weeks earlier and how I'm to short for her, there's a reason she's been cheated on and now I understand why because her standards are to high and she has some other issues
2.2K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. It's the female equivalent of why men play-fight with each other. It's showing their skill in a safe environment. Women do this to other women all the time, but it's more evenly matched.
When they do it to men, it's like if a man tried to play-fight with a woman, very one-sided, someone gets hurt, and they sit there wondering "Why the fuck would anyone do that to another person?"11 Reply- +1 y
Great analogy.
Why? Because that is what women do. You might as well ask why cats torture mine before they kill them. If you are not familiar with the folk tale of the scorpion and the frog crossing a stream you should look it up. It may help you to understand.

Same reason why some guys play girls' emotions. Not all guys do and not all girls do. Why they do, I don't really know. Maybe for kicks? To get something out of it? Not entirely sure.
20 ReplyShe just wants to get emotions from you, some respond. To see that you're not indifferent to what she thinks

We were talking about something, and I said (this is all in a text by the way) I like you, I like the way you make me feel, every text, snap, when I'm around you put a smile on my face ( for someone whose been depressed for the last 10 years that's an accomplishment in its self) just talking to you for the last 2 months has made me happy again, when I'm around you I feel like I can be free, I feel like I can be silly and goofy and weird and don't care how I act.
Her response was I know because I don't care how goofy and weird you are lol - +1 y
I can only hope, I don't know how much farther I can push myself, I've said everything that could be said, I've done everything that can be done, emotionally I'm wreck, I cry because I dont feel like she feels the same, I don't know what to do anymore, she has literally brought me down to my knees, I'm constantly beating myself up cuz I feel like I fucked up somewhere, I know I'm in love, but Jesus Christ this killing me all the time, I love her, I would do anything for her, I feel broken, I want her so bad it's hurts, I've never felt this way about another person in my life

When I mean I want her I'm not talking sexually, I'm talking about we lay in bed all day watch movies and just talk about anything and everything and cuddle I've come to point were sex isn't everything anymore I haven't had sex in 2 years and I could of done with a couple different women but that's not I want, I want and miss intimacy
+1 yShe sounds annoying , calling you short? I would just walk the other way and wave bye
00 Replybecause they are confused she may think she likes you she may thinks you are flirting with her.
03 ReplyNot all girls are like that.. And I can't completely understand what you're trying to say in the description, haha.

Nor me!
A lot of people tend to, it's not always deliberate. Sometimes trying to subtly tell somebody how you can feel can look like arrogance. She's probably trying to flirt with you by teasing you.
