Why do ex girlfriend say they miss you?

From time to time my ex girlfriend say that she misses me why do they do that?

Ay yo bruh, when an ex says she misses you it usually means one of a couple things:

1. She's lonely or bored. Maybe her new situation isn't living up to what you guys had. Says she misses you for attention.

2. She misses the comfort level. Even if you weren't perfect, she was accustomed to having you around and your vibe. Hard to fully let go.

3. Low key wants to get back with you. By telling you she misses you, she's putting the idea out there to see if you're down to reignite things. Testing the waters.

4. Wants to keep you on the hook. She knows saying that shit will confuse you and stop you from fully moving on. Likes the ego boost of you still being interested.

5. Actually does miss the good parts of your relationship. But them feelings don't necessarily mean you should go running back either feel me?

I'd say don't trust it too much. If you're over her don't let a few "I miss you" texts screw with your head. She's an ex for a reason. Just hit her with the "haha that's wassup" and keep it pushin.
