Is it weird if a 21 year old guy in college is dating an 18 year old girl in her senior year of Highschool?

Basically I met her on a dating app without realizing she was still in Highschool. She liked me first and initiated our conversation. Later on I found out she was still in Highschool and don’t know how to feel. Things have gone very slow so I don’t want to rush into anything but I like her and she likes me. Is this ok? Suddenly I feel like I’ve done something wrong and am worried about whether I should stop talking to her or not. She likes me a lot and my biggest fear right now is hurting her because I feel conflicted. It’s the Highschool part that is throwing me off. I don’t feel like her being 18 is a huge deal since she’s of legal age, but I’m scared of telling friends and family about the relationship. I’m not sure what to do

Doesn't sound like it's a big deal but relationship wise, yah prob is quite a reality difference. Depends on the type of person she is but an 18 year old isn't going to have much sense of responsibility.

Yeah.. the problem is that she likes me a lot. I’m not sure why but she does. I’ve only ever dated one girl before and I’m scared of hurting her if I cut things off

There would be an ulterior motive for why she'd seek out a man instead of a boy. And it'll probably be a red flag. The girls I know who have punched upwards age-wise had daddy issues, were trying to rebound, or had some kind of emotional trauma. It's a bit of a pattern.

Not saying you have to break it off (I mean, my mum and dad had that age gap when they met) but you should be hesitant in getting to know her. She may have some underlying issues
